Minnesota is Nice!
Posted in Life & Training on September 29th, 2008 by Lin Willi – Be the first to commentThe last couple weeks have flown by. I have been in Marquette, Michigan working at Farmer Q’s Market selling some awesome fresh fruits and veggies, and of course, training hard. Then last Wednesday I drove down to my hometown, Hastings, Minnesota. I don’t get the chance to rollerski in Hastings very much, but it is an awesome place to train. I love it! It is also a great to visit my parents. I have been eating great food at my mom’s house, and I was at my Dad’s house in Brooklyn Park over the weekend and experienced the Minneapolis Farmer’s Market. It was HUGE! I got some delicious fresh produce and some farm fresh pork.
I am flying out to Lake Placid, New York on Wednesday morning for another training camp. (I want to thank my dad’s boss, Stephen Hollinshead for donating his frequent flyer miles to get this plane ticket… THANKS STEVE!!!) I’m looking forward to another chance to do some tough training with some fast skiers from all over the country!
